Tracy Gaudet MD to speak on the Transformation to Whole Health
The Institute for Society, Culture, and Environment (ISCE) is bringing Tracy Gaudet MD, past Executive Director of the Veteran's Health Administration's National Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation, to Virginia Tech.
In her public presentation, Gaudet will discuss the need to redesign how the current health care system operates so that it is no longer reactive and inefficient. It introduces the concept of Whole Health, which expands the definition of wellbeing and empowers people to take charge of their own physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Gaudet will also address how Virginia Tech can play a pivotal role in this Whole Health transformation.

Tracy Gaudet MD is a past Executive Director of the Veterans Health Administration's National Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation, and she was recently honored wtih the Visionary Award from the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine for her leadership in transformative healthcare and the Exemplary Service Award for her work with the Veterans Health Administration.
